Refund policy

This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds and cancellations are processed by American Home Goodies UK. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms set out below.


 

 

1. Order Cancellations

Customers have the right to cancel their order within 24 hours of placing it and receive a full refund.

 


After this 24-hour period, orders are processed and items are purchased from Shops in the United States. As a result, we are unable to accept cancellations or issue refunds beyond this timeframe.



 

 

2. Nature of Our Business

American Home Goodies UK operates a sourcing and import service, whereby products are purchased from US retailers on behalf of customers.


Due to this made-to-order process:

  • Items are specifically sourced for each individual order
  • We do not hold all items in UK stock
  • Orders cannot be amended, cancelled, or refunded once procurement has begun



 

 

3. Delivery Timeframes

 

We clearly communicate estimated delivery times on our website.

  • Orders typically take 2–4 weeks to arrive in the UK
  • We aim, where possible, for items to arrive within approximately 2 weeks
  • Once received in the UK, orders are dispatched promptly via a tracked courier


Customers acknowledge and accept these timeframes at the point of purchase.

Refunds will not be issued due to delivery times, including delays caused by:


  • International shipping processes
  • Customs clearance
  • Courier delays
  • Factors outside of our control



 

 

 

4. Returns & Refund Eligibility

Due to the nature of imported and made-to-order goods, we do not accept returns or offer refunds for:

  • Change of mind
  • Incorrect selection by the customer
  • Delays within the stated delivery timeframe


 

 

 

5. Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items

 

If you receive a damaged, faulty, or incorrect item, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.


Upon review, we may offer one of the following at our discretion:


  • Replacement item
  • Partial refund
  • Full refund


Photographic evidence will be required to support all claims.


 

 

6. Non-Refundable Circumstances

 

Refunds will not be provided in the following circumstances:

  • Requests made outside of the 24-hour cancellation window
  • Delivery delays within the stated timeframe
  • Minor packaging damage that does not affect product usability
