Welcome to our very first blog post!
We thought it was about time we introduced ourselves properly and gave you a little look behind the scenes at American Home Goodies UK. Whether you’ve already ordered from us, have been following us on social media or have only just stumbled across our website, we’re so glad you’re here!
So, what exactly is American Home Goodies UK? Well, the name gives it away a little! 😂
We’re a UK based online business with a love for all things American, especially those amazing products you see all over TikTok, Instagram and American supermarket shelves but can never seem to find here in the UK. You know the ones we’re talking about!
Maybe it’s a body lotion everyone’s raving about, a laundry detergent with a scent you’ve been desperate to try or a limited edition product that’s only available across the pond.
That’s where we come in! We source products directly from the USA and bring them over to the UK, making it easier for you to get your hands on those American goodies without having to worry about international shipping, customs or figuring out how to order from American websites. We do the hard work so you don’t have to!

One of the best things about running American Home Goodies UK is discovering new products. And trust us, there’s always something new catching our eye!
We’ve got a real soft spot for American body care products, especially brands like eos. Their body lotions and fragrance mists have become incredibly popular, and we can definitely see why. The scents are gorgeous and there’s always excitement when a new collection launches.
Another favourite has to be The Lotion Company. Their body lotions have been getting lots of love from our customers recently and we absolutely love seeing everyone discover the different fragrances.
And we can’t forget about laundry products! If you’ve ever tried American Tide or Gain, you’ll know exactly why people love them. There’s just something about those fresh American laundry scents!
Of course, it’s not all lotions and laundry. We also love discovering American snacks, sweet treats, skincare and those slightly unusual products that make you think, why don’t we have this in the UK?!
Honestly, our list of products we’d love to bring over never seems to get any shorter. 😂
A little look behind the scenes 📦
Something you might not realise is just how much goes into getting American products over to the UK. It’s not quite as simple as popping an order in and having everything arrive the next day!
We spend a lot of time sourcing products, placing orders with American retailers and suppliers, arranging shipments and getting everything safely across the Atlantic. There’s always a bit of excitement when another shipment finally arrives, especially when it’s packed with new products we’ve been waiting to get our hands on. And yes, sometimes we’re just as excited to open the boxes as you are to receive your orders!
Because we’re importing products from America, some items can take a little longer to arrive, particularly brand new releases or products ordered especially for customers. But we always aim to make the whole experience as straightforward as possible.

One thing we really want people to know is that you’re not limited to the products already listed on our website. Spotted something on American TikTok? Seen a product on Walmart or Target that you’d absolutely love to try?

We wanted to create this little corner of our website as somewhere we can share a bit more with you. Not just product listings and the occasional social media post, but actual updates about what’s happening at American Home Goodies UK. We’ll be sharing new arrivals, upcoming product launches, brands we’re loving, seasonal collections, behind the scenes updates and probably a few other bits and pieces along the way. Think of it as a little catch-up with us!
